Sandy brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to Polaris Medical Group, including 10 years caring for patients in our practice. Her extensive healthcare background includes many years at Watson Clinic and Lakeland Regional Hospital.

Sandy's commitment to nursing has been reflected throughout her education and career. She earned an Associate in Business, followed by an Associate in Nursing Science, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and a Master’s degree in Nursing. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida Southern College.

She is a member of the Polk County Advanced Practice Nursing Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

What Sandy enjoys most about caring for patients is getting to know them as individuals and building lasting relationships. She believes that taking the time to listen and understand each patient's needs is an important part of providing compassionate, personalized care.

With her extensive experience and genuine dedication to her patients, Sandy strives to make every patient feel heard, respected, and cared for.

Jaison brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience to Polaris Medical Group, where he serves as Clinical Director. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, he provides comprehensive care with a focus on primary care, chronic disease management, and helping patients achieve better overall health.

Jaison earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida, where he completed his Family Nurse Practitioner training. His diverse clinical experience includes Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology.

He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.

Jaison believes that providing quality healthcare means taking the time to listen to each patient, understand their individual needs, and work together toward better health. His goal is to build lasting relationships with his patients while providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and personalized care.

For over 50 years, Dr. Magarino (affectionately known as Art or Dr. M) devoted his life to caring for the people of Lakeland with compassion, integrity, and tireless dedication. His commitment to the health and well-being of his patients touched generations of families and left a lasting mark on our community.
